The day will involve some talks in the morning followed by some smaller group workshops in the afternoon, all aimed at exploring how the ancient philosophy of Stoicism might be useful for people in their lives today.

The event is generously hosted by the Institute of Philosophy and the Institute of Classical Studies, both parts of the School of Advanced Study of the University of London, and it is supported by the Royal Institute of Philosophy. The ticket price covers the cost of lunch and refreshments during the day.
