THE STOIC online magazine is distributed free. The costs associated with it are 100% underwritten by the publisher, The Stoic Gym, and the personal resources of the Editor, Dr. Chuck Chakrapani. The Stoic Gym neither solicits nor accepts donations. The expenses incurred are mostly subsidized by the revenues associated with the sale of books.

Affiliate links

Amazon links in this magazine are affiliate links. If you purchase anything from Amazon using these links, you will not pay any more but The Stoic Gym will receive a small commission, which will partially contribute to the cost of producing THE STOIC.

Copyright

Feel free to use and disseminate any idea expressed in THE STOIC. However, you may not reproduce any article (or substantial part thereof) without prior permission from THE STOIC. All materials are copyrighted and are subject to copyright laws.

Views of columnists

THE STOIC is a curated publication. This means we do take care that what goes into the magazine meets our quality standards. However, within reason, columnists are free to express their opinions. So any opinion expressed in the magazine should be treated as those the columnists and not of THE STOIC

Your comments and suggestions

Your comments are most welcome. Please feel free to comment on the magazine, its contents, quality etc. We may publish your comments from time to time.

Stoic Street Irregulars

The Stoic Gym is looking for volunteers (“Stoic Street Irregulars” or SSI) who are willing to read and comment on advanced copies of Stoic publications. Our current project, a 10-week course on Stoicism called How to be a Stoic When You Don’t Know How IS NOW CLOSED.

If you would like to participate in future projects, please respond to thestoic@thestoicgym.com with the subject line SSI. We will draw volunteers from the SSI pool so they will be the first to read our publications, comment on them, and offer suggestions for improvement.
